Ms. Tina Renee Goad-Tatum

Ms. Tina Renee Goad-Tatum, age 42 of Claudville, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 28, 1970 in Martinsville, and was preceded in death by her father, Claude Marion Goad. She served in the United States Army during Desert Storm, and was a longtime member of Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder. She had been a registered nurse for Hardin Reynolds Memorial School and for Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Goad-Tatum is survived by two daughters, Leanna Tatum of Stuart and Patricia Renee Tatum of Patrick Springs; her mother, Leonia Handy Goad of Patrick Springs; and one brother, Marion Allen Goad of Stuart.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Rountree officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
