Ms. Virginia Vergie Pendleton

Ms. Virginia Vergie Pendleton, 97 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Friday at her daughters' home in Greensboro. She was born in Patrick County on July 17, 1912 to the late Ernest and Eliza Marshall Boyd. She was a Homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Silas R. Boyd and a sister, Annie Ruth Shelor.
Ms. Pendleton is survived by a daughter, Vera Faye Summers of Greensboro, NC, three sons, Benny Pendleton of Meadows of Dan, Charles Kent Pendleton of Meadows of Dan, Billy Pendleton of Laurel Fork, VA, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
