Mrs. Myrtle Virginia Linville Snow Cole, 95, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, September 9, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Cole was born February 27, 1927, in Forsyth County, to the late James Robert and Laura Ada Marsh Linville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Surviving are her husband, Wain Cole; a son, Emanuel Lee Snow; four stepdaughters, Nancy Hicks, Susan Ayers, Melody Johnson, and Karen Cole; five granddaughters, Shelia Snow Marshall and her husband, Bob, Brittany Renee Snow and her fiancé, Tom Dunning, Kimberly Blaschke, Angelina Snow, and Nikita Snow; two grandsons, Ritchie Snow and Marc Snow; eight great-grandchildren, Gavin Marshall, Faith Ann Marshall, Mace Riley Snow, Lilyana Blaschke, Autumn Blaschke, Samuel Blaschke, Noah Blaschke, and Evelynn Blaschke; several stepgrandchildren; several great-stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her first husband, Teddy Snow; a son, Edward Martin Snow; and fifteen siblings. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Arlis Thomas and the Rev. Doug Cockerham officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
