NEW SERVICE DATE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
Mrs. Mycleta Reynolds Cox, 91, of Pfafftown, passed away December 30, 2024, at her home after a three-month illness. Mrs. Cox was born in Surry County, NC on October 9, 1933, to the late Jesse Vester and Annie Rogers Reynolds. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and James Utt of Pfafftown, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Hilton Creed of Mt Airy, NC; sister-in-law, Frances Reynolds of Greensboro, NC; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Zane S. Cox; her son, Donald Z. Cox; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hallie and Ed McMillian; Evelyn and Ralph Hodge; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Katie Reynolds; and brother, Carlton Reynolds. Special thanks to her caregivers, Lisa Perrell, Sierra Perrell and Keria Mullins for all their love, support and care given to Mycleta throughout her last days. Graveside services will be held on WEDNESDAY January 8, 2025, at 2:00pm at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on WEDNESDAY from 12:30pm until time to leave for the graveside service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy, NC is serving the family.
