Myra Holder Brim

Mrs. Myra Holder Brim, 51, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Forsyth County on March 10, 1965 to Brenda Kiger and the late Samuel “Gray” Holder. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Mrs. Brim is survived by her husband, James “Jimmy” Thomas Brim, Jr., of the home; four daughters and son-in-law, Mandy and Daniel Crutchfield, Victoria Dockery, Tammie Payne, and Jammie Brim; a son, Will Wheeler; ten grandchildren; her mother, Brenda Kiger; sisters, Elane Meeks and Lee Ann Vaughn; a brother, Mitch McPhetridge; her step-mother, Rosie Holder; her father-in-law, James Thomas “Tommy” Brim, Sr., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Mrs. Brim was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Kiger; and her mother-in-law, Mattie Brim. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother Scottie Speer officiating with burial to follow at Skyline Memory Garden. Family will receive friends on Monday night, January 30, 2017 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
