Myrtle "Pauline" Davis

Ms. Myrtle “Pauline” Davis, age 90, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born February 8, 1934, in Patrick County Va, to the late Oscar and Thelma East Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, John Dillard “Johnny” White and David Leonard “Fox” White; sisters, Irene Owen, and Lucille Linville; and her brother, Otis Davis.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Ronald Preslar. She worked as a seamstress at Washington Mills, as long as her health permitted, where she was known for her skill and efficiency. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 1:00-1:45 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service, for her close friends and family. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, at 2:00 PM, in the Dobson City Cemetery, with Rev. Tony White officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Davis family.
