Nancy Jean Bannister

Ms. Nancy Jean Bannister, 42, of 65 Poppy Lane, Lambsburg, VA, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Ms. Bannister was born October 20, 1967, in Welch, WV, to John Paul "Jack" and Mary Lou Hatfield Bannister. She was a licensed cosmetologist, had a business administration degree, and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a daughter, Danielle Nikole "Nikky" Crouse of Lambsburg, VA; her father and mother, John Paul "Jack" and Mary Lou Hatfield Bannister of Lambsburg, VA; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Steve Ramsey of Winston-Salem; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Paul and Maida Bannister of Leon, WV, Terry and Liz Bannister of Hanover, WV, and Thomas Bannister and his significant other, Tootsie, of Lambsburg, VA; eight nieces and nephews, Audra Pritt and her husband, Justin, of Huntington, WV, Josh Bannister of Charleston, SC, Fred Ramsey and Andy Ramsey, both of Winston-Salem, Jessica Bannister of Dobson, Luke Bannister and Emily Bannister, both of Hanover, WV, and Jennifer Bannister of Mount Airy; and her significant other, Danny Lynch of Bluefield, WV. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 24, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Dud Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
