Nancy Carol Bender

Miss Nancy Carol Bender, age 80 of Claudville, Virginia passed away peacefully at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home on Thursday, April 20, 2023.  She was born in Schoharie, New York to the late John Bender, Sr. and Anna Wahl Bender.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Meg Tiedman, and Jean Slater; and three brothers, Jake Bender, Billy Bender, and Jerry Bender.  Nancy was known for her love of flowers, crocheting, knitting, and watching cooking shows.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Left to cherish the memory of Nancy Bender are two sisters, Terry Piccolo and husband Mike, and Priscilla Medich and husband Charles; one brother; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Faith Coger.
