Nancy Lynn Brooks

Mrs. Nancy Lynn Watson Brooks, age 64, of Dobson, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019, at Pruitt Health Care.  She was born July 21, 1955, in Alleghany County to Blane Watson and to the late Clara Mae Brooks Watson.  In addition to her mother, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wayne “Mike” Brooks; a son, Michael Randolph “Randy” Brooks and a sister, Tammy Achtenburg.  Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Robert A. “Bobby” Brooks and Timothy W. Brooks; daughter-in-law, Kim Brooks; grandchildren, Derek Brooks and Leighanne Brooks; her father, Blane Watson; sisters, Patricia Jo Watson and Debbie Lybrink; brother, Thomas Blane Watson, Jr.; and two special friends, Linda Blackburn and Wanda Royal; and her special companion Oreo.   There will be no formal services held for Mrs. Brooks.  The family would like to thank Pruitt Health Care for the love and care given to their mother.
