Nancy Elaine Bruner

Mrs. Nancy Elaine Inman Bruner, 69, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Surry County on February 14, 1949 to the late Elbert and Maudine Tolbert Inman.  Mrs. Bruner retired from Granite City Florist, and was a member of Pilot Community Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Curtis Bruner; daughters, Christy Bruner Todd; Tammy Bruner Wall, Kimberly Bruner; grandchildren, Brittany Bruner Haynes, Levi Todd, Colby Haynes, Zackery Wall, Leah Todd, and Tyler Burkhart; a great grandchild, Jaron Haynes.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bruner was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Bode.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Sawyers officiating.  Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
