Nancy Ruth Coe

Ms. Nancy Ruth Coe, age 73, of Dobson, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born February 16, 1948, in Surry County to the late Willie Louis Coe and the late Alma Reece Coe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nellie Miller, and a nephew, Tony Miller. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Barry Woodring; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Angie Coe; grandchildren, Brooke Woodring Mauck (Derick), Ty Woodring (Corri), Ben Woodring, Hogan Coe and Laken Coe; great-grandchildren, Aaron Mauck, Liam Mauck, Jude Mauck and Whit Woodring and Cheyenne Woodring; sister and brother-in-law, Nannie and Glenn Hardy; a niece, Tammy Miller, nephews, Tim Hardy and David Hardy; her best friend, Mary Kay Snow; her caregiver, Penny Wall and devoted friends, Linda Hardy and Cheryl Brintle; furry companion, Addie Grace. Nancy was a member of Salem Baptist Church, retired from Kentucky Derby, and will be dearly missed by the countless children she cared for in her home. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, November 14, 2021, in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Powell, Rev. Russ Billo and Rev. Bill Jenkins officiating. There will be no visitation. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Coe family.
