Nancy Carolyn Edmonds

Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Newsome Edmonds, 77, of Pilot Mountain passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Edmonds was born in Forsyth County on April 26, 1945, to the late Grady Oscar and Frances Lane Newsome.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Mrs. Edmonds was a faithful member of Beulahland Baptist Church.  She loved reading her Bible, her daily bread devotions, and enjoyed her flowers.  Nancy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Edmonds; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Rev. James Howell; Tanya and Todd Brock; sons and daughter-in-law, James Edmonds, Andy and Liz Edmonds; grandchildren, Charley Edmonds, Jackson Edmonds, William Brock, Brandi Brock, Katelyn and Travis Blevins, Kacie and Dalton Golden; great grandchildren, Casen Blevins, Avery Blevins, Ellie Golden, and Alice Golden; brothers-in-law, Allen Ladd, and Mike Smith; sisters-in-law, Nancy Newsome, and Jewel Newsome; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edmonds was preceded in death by sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth and Ray Moser, Doris Ladd, and Dorothy Smith; brothers, Billy Newsome, and Charles Newsome.  A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Beulahland Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Ritchey, Rev. James Howell, Rev. Bobby Jenkins, and Rev. Anthony Gordy officiating.  Burial will follow in Beulahland Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the church.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
