Nancy Louise Thomas

Mrs. Nancy Louise Culler Thomas, 80, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Surry County on May 14, 1942, to the late Garnett and Mozell Gates Culler.  Mrs. Thomas retired from O’Dell’s Catering and was of the Baptist faith.  She is survived by her husband, Russell Lee Thomas; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Joseph Glass, Amy and David Smith; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Susan Thomas; grandchildren, Andrea and Jordan Tucker, Casey and Nick Carey, Emily Glass Jones, Adam Glass, Caleb and Bridgett Holder, Nathan Holder and Madyson Bingman, Las Thomas; great grandchildren, Josie Jones, Ian Holder, Adley Tucker, Jace Tucker, Ellie Carey, and one on the way; her step mother, Nancy Culler; a half brother and sister-in-law, Mike Culler and spouse; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by a daughter, Allison Thomas; a sister, Frankie.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jonathan Casstevens officiating.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
