Nancy Louise Eggers Puckett

Mrs. Nancy Louise Eggers Puckett, 49, of 1009 Mitchell Street, Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Puckett was born July 21, 1957, in Madison, WV, to Edsel Eggers and the late Marjorie Morris Eggers. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Wyatt Puckett of the home; her father and stepmother, Edsel and Pat Eggers of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer E. and Frank Howard of Delaware; a stepdaughter and spouse, Jennifer and Doug Mitchell of Eflin; a stepson and spouse, Eric and Tracie Puckett of Lowgap; seven stepgrandchildren; a stepsister, Barbara Jackson of Winston-Salem; two stepbrothers, John Williams of Mount Airy and Earl Williams of Asheville; and her best friend, Cindy Rigney. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by an infant son, Brian; a sister, Susan Underwood; and a brother, David Eggers. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Todd E. Byrd. Burial will follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home.
