Nancy Elaine Jenkins Roberts

Mrs. Nancy Elaine Jenkins Roberts, 51, of 307 Virginia Street, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born December 7, 1959, in Surry County, to Virginia Imogene Hall Jenkins and the late Arthur Burton Jenkins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Terry Wayne Roberts of the home; her mother, Virginia Imogene Hall Jenkins of Mount Airy; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Stephen Burton Jenkins of Lawsonville, David Alan and Tammy Jenkins of Mount Airy, and Michael Neil and Wanda Jenkins of Myrtle Beach, SC; several nieces and nephews; an aunt, Juanita Hughes of Christiansburg, VA; and two sisters-in-law, Pam Robbins and Dawn Pegram, both of Mount Airy. In addition to her father, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Jenkins. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 22, 2011, at 11:00 AM at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
