Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Garrett Phillips (Audrey) of Winston-Salem, NC, Adam Broome (Kristen) of Kannapolis, NC, and Chris Broome (Katya) of Fort Worth, TX; four great-grandchildren, Sawyer Phillips of Cullman, AL, Charley Phillips of Winston-Salem, NC, Garrison Broome of Kannapolis, NC, and Kamilla Broome of Fort Worth, TX; granddaughter-in-law, Brittany Phillips-Nalley (Tim) of Cullman, AL. Naomi was a homemaker and enjoyed activities outside of the home. She was a member of the Tanglewood Ladies Golf Association and a member of a lady’s bowling league. Naomi did volunteer work throughout the community and never met a stranger. Even with the loss of her hearing at birth, Naomi never let it keep her from having a full and faithful life. Naomi became a resident of Clemmons Village II Assisted Living Community in 2005 and enjoyed her home there until she moved to Clemmons Village I Memory Care in April 2023. Naomi loved to play bingo, make jewelry, and visit with the residents and their families. She loved her home at Clemmons Village and made so many friends.
Naomi will be laid to rest in Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy, NC on Sunday October 15, 2023, with a graveside service at 11:00am. In remembrance of Naomi’s faith, may you have a moment of silence and prayer.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at Clemmons Village II, Clemmons Village I, and Novant Health for the care and support of our mother over the years. Thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice Home for the care and comfort in her last days. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
