Nelda Faye (Goins) Bowman

Mrs. Nelda Faye Goins Bowman, age 72, , of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at High Point Medical Center.  She was born in Patrick County on November 16, 1950, to the late Willie and Ethel Goins.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 40 years, James Bowman; niece, Kathy Gwyn (Gray); great nieces, Jennifer Grumbach (Ben), Kimberly Snow (Justin), Allison Creed (Jac); nephews, Timmy and Neal Goins; special sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Goins, Mildred Goins.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by brothers, James, Kenneth, Bobby Goins, and Herbert Goins; nephew, Herbert Dean Goins.  .  A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church in Westfield with services conducted by Rev. Tommy Nichols, and Rev. Roger Brown.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the church.
