Nellie Jo Hall Snow

Mrs. Nellie Jo Hall Snow, 78 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Snow was born in Carroll County on April 15, 1933 to the late Claude and Bessie Ramey Hall. She was retired from Pine State Knitwear and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Mac Snow of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Carol and Junior McCraw of Mt. Airy; sons and daughter-in-law, Marty B. Snow, Steven and Sharon Snow all of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby Brewer, Claudine and Tom Goins all of Mt. Airy, Esther and Archie Creed of Yadkinville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey and Neomi Hall of Ararat, VA, Dean and Mary Lou Hall, Curtis and Toni Hall all of Mt. Airy; Clara Hall of Ararat, VA, Nancy Hall of Lexington. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheila Jo and Sharon Annette Snow; a sister, Pauline Davis; two brothers, Grant and Cecil Hall. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. Travis Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
