Nellie Ruth Snow

Mrs. Nellie Ruth Jackson Snow, 89, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Surry County on July 5, 1931 to the late Charles and Edna White Jackson.  Mrs. Snow was retired from Renfro, and a member of Joylight Baptist Church.  She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Vickrey and Alan, Melody Tate and Anthony “Tony”, and Tracey Clark; sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Dennis Snow and Betty, Mark Snow and Deborah; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lee Stewart; a brother and sisters-in-law, Lonnie Jackson and Rachael, and Pauline Jackson; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Leroy Snow; a grandson, Kevin Vickrey; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann Atkins, and Rex; a brother, Wayne Jackson.  A graveside service will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Randy Edwards officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
