Mrs. Nerine Louise Peringer Seidler, 96, of Mount Airy, formerly of Woodsfield, OH, went to be with Jesus early Wednesday morning, May 15, 2024, from Central Continuing Care, with family by her side. Mrs. Seidler was born April 25, 1928, in Hanson Station, WA, the daughter of the late Forrest and Irene Hodgson Peringer. Nerine studied nursing, making it her career. After marrying Ronald Seidler, they moved to Woodsfield, OH, where Ronald was employed at Olin Aluminum. She was a Monroe County Health nurse for 10 years before becoming one of Ohio’s first nurse practitioners. Nerine worked at the Monroe County Clinic until retirement. She was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Seidler was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ronald Seidler; and a grandson, Joey. She is survived by her four children, Jeff (JoEllen), Greg (Victoria), Jay (Sally), and Rhonda (Chip) Jones; four grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Woodsfield, OH. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
