Nervia Frances Hill Stanley

Mrs. Nervia Frances Hill Stanley, age 98, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, July 25 ,2021, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born February 25, 1923, in Stokes County to the late Edward Verlin Hill and the late Cecilia Humphries Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Grover Stanley; daughter, Gaynell Eaton; two sisters and five brothers; and sister-in-law, Martha Lee Stanley. Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughter-in-law, Verlin Stanley, J. G. Stanley Jr. James M. Stanley and Tony and Diane Stanley. Grandchildren, Jamie Eaton, Johnny Eaton, Karissa Stanley, Tim Stanley, Mikey Stanley, Cassie Stanley, Josh Stanley, Randy Wood, Ryan Stanley, Andrew Stanley, and Matthew Brackins; great-grandchildren, Griffin Stanley, Camryn Stanley, Blake Wood and Kayden Stanley; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stanley was retired from Wayne Farms and attended Bear Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 1-2:00 P.M. at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The service will begin at 2:00 P.M. in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Larry Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Services in Dobson is serving the Stanley family.
