Mrs. Nina Marie Bunker Snow, 87, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Snow was born November 20, 1924, in Surry County, to the late Byron D. and Maude Key Bunker. She was a loving sister and aunt who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Snow was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Byrona Atkins, Ruby East, and Nonnie and Edd East, all of Mount Airy, Lena and Ivy Stack of Winston-Salem, and Chester Atkins of Pilot Mountain; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Snow; a sister, Eloise Atkins; two brothers-in-law, Glenn East and Don Atkins; and two infant brothers. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 2, 2012, at 2:00 PM at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Glenda Bramlet officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
