Noah Columbus Haunn

Mr. Noah Columbus Haunn, 78, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Central Continuing Care. Mr. Haunn was born May 13, 1930, in Surry County, to the late Hillary Hampton and Ada Marshall Haunn. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a sister, Helen Haunn; and a brother and two sisters-in-law, Roger and Lettie Haunn and Annie Laurie Haunn, all of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Haunn was preceded in death by a sister, Eliza McCraw; and two brothers, Guy Haunn and Carlos Haunn. The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 16, 2008, at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Lester Bryant, and burial will follow in the Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
