Mrs. Nora Camelia (Dood) Cave age 91, of Dobson passed away on Friday morning August 18, 2006 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mt. Airy. Mrs. Cave was born in Surry County on September 22, 1914 to the late Benny Marsh and the late Leato Payne Marsh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband James Wesley Cave and one son Kyle Cave. She was a homemaker and farmer and was a member of Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are five daughters and sons-in-law Martha and Cint Bodford of Winston Salem, Clarine Sprinkle of King, Shelby and Tom Edwards of Roanoke Va., Linda and Joe Bill Hemric of Dobson, Barbara and Eric Davis of Dobson; four sons and daughters-in-law J.B. and Jesquer Cave of Mt. Airy, Jacob and Martha Cave of Mt. Airy, Roger and Barbara Cave of Pilot Mtn., Joe Cave of Dobson; one daughter-in-law Claudia Cave of Cary; twenty five grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday August 20, 2006 at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Elder Willie Branch, Elder David Edwards will officiate the services. Her body will remain at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson until carried to the church to lie in state 30 Min. before the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Home on Saturday evening from 7 until 9 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church C/O Ray Childress 9122 NC Hwy 268 Elkin, NC 28621, or to the Skill Nursing at Northern Hospital of Surry County. The family would like to thank the staff of Skill Nursing at Northern Hospital of Surry County for the loving care that was given to our Mother and family.
