Nora Love Snody

Mrs. Nora Love Brewer Snody, 90, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Forsyth County on April 11, 1933, to the late Marion Lee and Carrie Lee Whitley Brewer.  Mrs. Snody retired from Quality Mills and was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snody was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ray Snody; sisters and brother-in-law, Pauline Delovich, Shirley Holbrook, Ruth Arrington, Mable Brewer, twin-Flora Faw and Clayton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Brewer, Tommy Brewer, R.J. Brewer and Nina Mae, Spencer Brewer and Ruby.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 11:00 at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Pete King and the Rev. Kevin Kilby officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice and to the staff of Twelve Oaks for the love and care given to Nora.  Moody Funeral services in Mt.
