Norma Collins Dezern

Mrs. Norma Collins Dezern, age 83, of Pilot Mountain, NC passed away at her home peacefully on Sunday September 30, 2018.  She was born in Surry County to the late Randall and Lilla Marion Collins on March 18, 1935.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Gray Dezern; a brother, Leon Collins.  She was a homemaker and a member of Whitaker Chapel United Methodist Church.  Surviving are her two daughters and son-in-law, Marcia and Scotty Tuttle of Houston, TX, and Kathy Dezern of Pilot Mountain, NC; three, grandchildren, Levi Dezern, Benjamin Tuttle, and Matthew Tuttle; four sisters, Margaret Campbell, Barbara Wall, Hilda Joyce, and Frances Turney; three brothers, Joe Collins, Denny Collins, and Donnie Collins.  A memorial graveside service will be held by the family on October 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM Saturday in Pilot View United Methodist Church Cemetery.  There will be no services held at the funeral home, Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the family.
