Norma Siernos Hecker

Mrs. Norma Siernos Hecker, 83, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 1, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Hecker was born August 10, 1938, in Newark, NJ, one of three children born to the late Stanley and Theresa Krug Siernos. Norma was a retired secretary and a member of the Catholic church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jong Leon of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Aaron Hecker of Indiana and Evening Leon of Winston-Salem; and a sister, Theresa Devecka of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hecker was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Randolph Hecker; a daughter, Renee Norma Hecker; a son, Richard Matthew Hecker; and a brother, Joseph Siernos. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Evening Hollow Cemetery, located at 1889 The Hollow Road, Ararat, VA, with the Rev. Richard Loman officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
