Norman Marion Sr.

Mr. Norman Clark Marion Sr., age 69, passed away on February 17, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  He was born in Surry Co. on November 24, 1951, to the late William Thomas “Bill” Marion, Sr. and the late Elva Elaine Hodges Marion.  He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Surviving is his son and fiancée Norman Clark Marion Jr. and Misty Hearn; step-son and wife Wendell and Mandy Jenkins; grandchildren, Colton Marion, Clara Marion, Isaiah Jenkins and Allison Jenkins; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Tommy and Shannon Marion, Mark and Sara Marion; nieces and nephews, Lark Marion, Sparrah Marion, Morgan and Joe Lambert, Molly Marion and Greg Martin, Robin and Ty Parker, Carla Brame, Angie and Jason Hinson; great nieces and great-nephews, Mason Wood, Max Lambert, Luke Hinson, Hope Hinson, Mackenzie Parker, Bree Brame, Macee Brame; special friend Greg Ledbetter in TX and all of his Elk family, along with several friends and neighbors. The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone for their prayers, calls and messages. No matter what you called him daddy, brother, papa, uncle, Stormin or Norm, he always made you feel loved! A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Salem Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Pastor David Powell and Brother Joe Lambert will officiate the service. His body will lie in state at Salem Baptist Church on Sunday February 21, 2021, from 2:00 PM until time of his service.
