Odell Edgar Crotts

Mr. Odell Edgar Crotts age 75 of 340 Snowhill Drive, Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born March 1, 1933 in Carroll County to the late Bud and Media Edwards Crotts. He was a member of Ladonia Baptist Church and was a retried sawmiller. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Lou Harvest, Wanda Faye Butcher both of Mt. Airy, a son, Roger Crotts, Mt. Airy, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, four sisters and a brother-in-law, Violet Hawks, Mt. Airy, Nina and Doug Felts, Mary Ruth Goodson, Rebbie Calahan all of Lowgap, a brother and sister-in-law, Darvel and Lennis Crotts, Lowgap, NC. In addition ot his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Crotts, two sisters, Cecil Callahan and Mary Margaret Crotts, two brothers, Monroe and Jim Crotts. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Stantliff Family Cemetery conducted by Elder Arwood Edwards. The family will receive friends 9:30 AM Saturday at Moody Funeral Home until time for Mr. Crotts to be taken to the cemetery for the graveside service and other times at the home of Darvel Crotts, 567 Carson Creek Rd., Lowgap, NC. be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
