Olen Cornelius Puckett

Mr. Olen Cornelius Puckett age 70 of 1059 Holly Tree Road, Ararat, VA, husband of Hilda Gail Goad Puckett passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Puckett was born in Patrick County on July 24, 1936 son of the late Lundie Puckett and Argie Vivian Bowman Puckett. Surviving are his wife, Hilda Gail Goad Puckett of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Joey Epperson of Claudville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Neal Puckett and Scott Puckett both of the home and Stacy and Jenna Puckett of Mount Airy; four grandchildren, Abigail Epperson, Justin Epperson, Zane Puckett and Caroline Puckett; two sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara H. Bowman of Claudville and Doris and Chad Radisic of Ararat, VA and one sister-in-law, Stella Puckett of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Gray and three brothers, Aubra Puckett, Ronnie Lee Puckett and Gilmer Puckett. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Zane Fishel with burial to follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
