Oliver Trent Cromer

Mr. Oliver Trent Cromer, 56, of 328 Circle C Farm Road, Ararat, VA, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009, in Chapel Hill. Mr. Cromer was born June 22, 1953, in Forsyth County, to Alvin and Maydee Scott Cromer. Trent was the owner and operator of Circle C Farms and the co-owner of Cana Produce. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Connie Gleaton Cromer of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Courtney Cromer of New York, NY, and Dee and Blake Horton of Ararat, VA; a grandson, Jackson Blake Horton of Ararat, VA; his mother, Maydee Scott Cromer of Mount Airy; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Cheryl and Steve Badgett of Tobaccoville and Tammy Cromer of Ararat, VA. Mr. Cromer was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Cromer. The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Verlon Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
