Ollie Hooker

Mrs. Ollie Celestine Edwards Hawks Hooker, age 82, of Cana, passed away on May 20, 2021 at Heritage Hall in Laurel Fork, VA.  She was born in Carroll County Virginia on May 17, 1939 to the late Issac Lafayette and Mary Elizabeth Hawks Edwards.  She was a retired Inspector from Spencer’s Inc.  Left to cherish her memories are a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Wade Crouse; grandchildren Nickie Hackler and husband Arron, Landon Edwards and wife Jennifer; six great-grandchildren; Nate, Ashlynn, Noah, Katie, Neven, and Nickia; brother and sister-in-law, Andrew Edwards and wife Carol; special nieces, Katie Cagle, and Net Bowman and husband Ray; several other nieces and nephews, best friends, Lousettie Hall and Ricky Crotts.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Hooker was preceded in death by her first husband Arles Eugene Hawks, second husband, Adderson Arnold Hooker; brother, Oscar David Edwards and his wife Mildred.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church with services conducted by Elder Lacy Gates, Elder Arwood Edwards, and Elder V.J Hawks.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the church.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.   To send flowers to Ollie's family, please visit our floral store.
