Mrs. Ollie Mae Venable Quesinberry, 92, of 2613 Siloam Road, Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007. Mrs. Quesinberry was born May 8, 1914, in Surry County, to the late Sherman and Sara Lou Keaton Venable. She was a homemaker, a farmer, and a member of Blackwater United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Raymond Robtison of Pilot Mountain; four sons and three daughters-in-law, James Edward and Claudine Quesinberry, Lonnie and Patsy Quesinberry, Kenneth Quesinberry, and Joe and Ginger Quesinberry, all of Mount Airy; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Bertha Venable of Mount Airy, Lola and Connie Denny of Pilot Mountain, Faye and Jim Stanley and Alma Lou Vernon, all of Dobson, and Carol Lee and Taylor Flippin of Siloam; a brother and sister-in-law, Roby and Ernestine Venable of Mount Airy; a half-sister and spouse, Rita and Lonnie Atkins of Mount Airy; a half-brother, Garnett Venable of Mount Airy; and a special caregiver, Eldean Noah. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quesinberry was preceded in death by her husband, Prince James Quesinberry; a son, Russell Lee Quesinberry; a grandson, Chris Quesinberry; a great granddaughter, Cory Hall; two brothers, Weldon Venable and Floyd Venable; and a half-brother, Troy Venable. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Watson and the Rev. Ted Crotts, and burial will follow in the Blackwater United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, and other times at the home of James Edward and Claudine Quesinberry, 2601 Siloam Road, Mount Airy.
