Otis Elbert Puckett

        Mr. Otis Elbert Puckett, age 86, of Meadows of Dan passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on September 15, 1934 to the late Samuel and Dora Cochran Puckett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernita Laney Puckett; second wife, Clara Belcher Puckett; three stepdaughters, Della Cruise, Patricia Cruise, and Linda Cruise; two stepsons, Lonnie Cruise and Elvin Cruise; three sisters, Myrtle Boyd, Thelma Lewis, and Nellie Barnard; two brothers, Charlie Puckett and Leonard Puckett. 

        Surviving are one son; Donald Puckett and wife Tracy; two stepsons, Ronald Cruise of Meadows of Dan, Phillip Leon Cruise of Louisburg, NC, 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
