P. Kathleen Ayers Yeatts

Mrs. P. Kathleen Ayers Yeatts, 82, of Columbia, SC, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. She was the loving mother of Stephen Yeatts and his wife, Kimberli, and loving grandmother of Kirsten and Abigail Yeatts. Born August 17, 1928, in Ararat, VA, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Mildred Epperson Ayers and the late Rush Ayers. In addition, Kathleen is survived by her sister, Jeanne and her husband, Frank O'Dowd; her brother, Robert Ayers and his wife, Vicky; her sister, Patricia and her husband, Bernard Coniglio; her sister, Millie Simmons; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Vance Ayers, Frank Ayers, and Garner Ayers. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 29, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Unity Church, with the Rev. Buford Jessup officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Yeatts family.
