Pamela "June" Akers

Mrs. Pamela "June" Jenkins Akers, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away on Wednesday August 29, 2018 in Forsyth Co.  She was born in Surry Co. on March 16, 1959 to the late Ernest Eugene Jenkins and the late Annie Sue Bryant Jenkins. She was a homemaker, She was married to the late Eddie Dean Akers who died on August 29th 2018.  Surviving is a brother David Eugene and his wife Mary Jenkins of Mt. Airy, NC and a nephew, Matthew David Jenkins . A memorial service will be hold Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Freedom Gospel Church, 474 Old Rockford Road, Dobson NC 27017, with Reverend Randy Parrish officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the family. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Freedom Gospel Church, 474 Old Rockford Road, Dobson NC 27017
