Pamela Joan Golding Fitchpatrick

Mrs. Pamela Joan Golding Fitchpatrick, 57, of 148 Gwyn Avenue, Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 17, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Fitchpatrick was born May 28, 1955, in Grayson County, VA, to Claude and Lois Daniels Golding. A loving and devoted wife and mother, Pamela was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Tabernacle in Lambsburg, VA. Her sense of humor and craftiness will be remembered for many years by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Odis Dean Fitchpatrick of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela Camp of North Pekin, IL, and Tabitha and Jacob Cooper of Washington, IL; three grandchildren, Amelia Cooper and Jacob Cooper, both of Washington, IL, and Jordan Camp of North Pekin, IL; her parents, Claude and Lois Daniels Golding of Henderson; and her mother-in-law, Ruth Flambers Fitchpatrick of the home. Mrs. Fitchpatrick was preceded in death by a brother, David Golding. A service to celebrate Pamela's life will be held Friday, October 19, 2012, at 6:00 PM at Fellowship Tabernacle, with Lane Bryant officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407-2145. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
