Pamela Faye Johnson

Mrs. Pamela Faye Dye Johnson, age 67 of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 23, 1953 in Hawaii to the late Russell Charles and Rosetta Holden Dye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lanell Bryce Johnson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Amanda Johnson, grandchild, Sonora Bryce Johnson; brother Larry Tucker; and a brother-in law and sister-in-law Mike and Martha Johnson. Before her retirement, Mrs. Johnson was a teacher at Surry Central High School for thirty years. After her retirement, she was very involved as a volunteer with Surry Animal Rescue. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Surry Animal Rescue, 1106 South Main Street, Mount Airy NC 27030 .Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Johnson Family.
