Patricia Ann Moorefield Easter

Mrs. Patricia Ann Moorefield Easter, 59, of 121 Abner Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008, at her home. She was born October 21, 1948, in Surry County, to the late William Joseph and Thelma Jonas Poff Moorefield. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Easter of the home; a son and friend, Chad Easter and Ashley Spangler of the home; five grandchildren, Patrick Willard, Tyler Willard, Matthew Willard, Cameron Hawks, and Brooklyn McKenzie Easter; a sister, Audrey Nester of Siloam; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Barbara Moorefield of Pilot Mountain; and a brother-in-law, Harry Dean Poindexter of Dobson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Easter; and a sister, Wanda Poindexter. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Edwards, and burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from 12:30 PM until the time for Mrs. Easter to be carried to the church for the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made toward Mrs. Easter's funeral expenses at Moody Funeral Services.
