Patricia Dawn Reeves Williams Eggers

Our Mother entered into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 25, 2022, after a long period of illness.  She lived her life to serve him, and she fulfilled her greatest purpose and that was to raise her children to love the Lord.  She was a blessing to many over her lifetime.  Our mother served in her church by using her talents to sing in the choir and was Sunday School Superintendent while caring for daddy during his illness with ALS.  She was past president of Mountain View Gardners Club as she loved flowers, and past president of the Iris Lee Simmons Cousins Club.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Airy. She loved most sports and playing bridge with her friends. She was a CNA in her younger years and owned and operated Williams Insurance Agency until her retirement.  Mrs. Eggers is the daughter of John William Reeves and Mattie Susan Simmons Reeves Inman.  She leaves behind her children, Barbara Williams Jackson (Floyd) Murrells Inlet, SC, Elbert Earl Williams, III of the home, and John Williams, Sr. (Tammy)of Mt. Airy. Grandchildren Trish Jackson, Mattie Williams, Amanda Sellers, Reeves Williams, John Williams, Jr, Tracy Nunn. Great grandchildren, Colby White, Aysys Lanning, Stella Lanning, and Charlotte Williams, Nathan Morton, and Wesley Nunn.  A brother Jim Reeves (Gayle) Mt. Airy and three nieces.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Eggers was preceded in death by her cherished grandson Matthew Jackson.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Jon Cawley and Rev. Jay Meadows officiating.  Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Mount Airy, 714 North Main Street, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
