Patricia "Patsy" Ann Meadows

Patricia (Patsy) Ann Badgett Meadows, age 86, of Mount Airy, passed away at Ridgecrest Assisted Living Community on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  Mrs. Meadows was born on October 27, 1934 in Mount Airy to Roy Lester and Lessie Lowry Badgett.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Joan Badgett Fulk, and her beloved husband of 42 years, B. Frank Meadows.  Mrs. Meadows was a devoted and adored mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She is survived by her son, F. Craig Meadows and his wife Rhonda of Riner, VA; daughter Lori Meadows Marshall and her husband Greg of Mount Airy; grandchildren and spouses Ashley Meadows Foley (Forrest), Jennifer Meadows, Brad Meadows (Bre), Michaela Cook Ray (Philip), Caitlin Cook Simmons (Joseph), William Marshall and Robert Marshall; great grand-children Wesley Ray, Franklin Meadows and Philip Meadows, and several nephews and their spouses. Mrs. Meadows was a faithful Christian and long-time member of Mount Airy Christian Church. She loved working with children and retired from the Mount Airy City Schools where she was a teaching assistant for many years.  Her favorite moments were time spent with family.  A private graveside service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 16th at Skyline Memory Gardens in Mount Airy with Minister David Kern officiating.  The family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the loving care and compassion provided by the staff at Ridgecrest for the past 3 years as well as Mountain Valley Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Mount Airy Christian Church (974 South Franklin Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030), Salvation Army (651 South South Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030) or Mountain Valley Hospice (401 Technology Lane, Suite 200; Mount Airy, NC 27030).
