Patricia Faye (Marshall) Spencer

Mrs. Patricia Faye Marshall Spencer, 72, of Mount Airy passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  She was born in Surry County on September 3, 1949, to the late James and Daisy Collins Marshall.  Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 53 years, Michael Woodrow Spencer; three daughters and sons-in-law, Michele Felts and Scotty, Melissa Bowman and Billy, Melinda Poole and Shawn Hughes; three grandchildren, Miranda Hurt, Morgan Johnson, Harley Felts; three great-grandchildren, Marshall Locke, Jaxon Locke, and Jordyn Locke.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Marshall.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in the family cemetery at the homeplace on Pine Ridge Road.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services is serving the family.
