Patrick Reavis Guyer

Mr. Patrick Reavis Guyer, age 83, of Dobson, NC passed away on Monday evening May 16, 2022, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, in Dobson, NC.  He was born in Surry County on December 6, 1938, to the late John Herman Guyer and the late Myrla Reavis Guyer.  He was a retired NC DOT Instructor, as a young man he joined the Army National Guard and then joined the US Air Force.  He was a member of Salem Fork Baptist Church.  Surviving is his wife Marilyn Hennessy Guyer; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Guyer and his wife Dr. Karen Wilson; nine grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, John Herman and Janice Park Guyer.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, May 20, 2022, at Salem Fork Baptist Church Family Life Center, with burial to follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens in State Road, NC.  Rev. Sean Joplin will officiate the service. Graveside rites will be by Copeland Masonic Lodge #390 A.F. & A.M.  The family will receive friends in the Salem Fork Family Life Center one hour before the service.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Guyer family.
