Patsy Lynne Payne

Ms. Patsy Lynne Payne, age 76 of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Ms. Payne was born in Surry County on February 21, 1948, to the late Rupert Nelson and Lola Bowman Payne.  Patsy retired as Vice President of Mortgage Operations from Allegacy Federal Credit Union.   Surviving are her son, Mitchell Eaton; brother, Michael Nelson Payne; nephew Stephen Nelson Payne; and several special friends.  A graveside service will be held at Skyline Memory Gardens on Thursday March 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Dr. Wayne Burkette officiating.  The family will receive friends at Skyline Memory Gardens following the service.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is assisting the Payne family.  In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to Habitat for Humanity.
