Patty Ann Martin

Mrs. Patty Ann Wright Martin, 65, of Westfield, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice home in Dobson, surrounded by her family.  She was born April 25, 1955, in Surry County, to the late Robert and Pauline Duncan Wright.  Mrs. Martin was a member of Philippians 3:10 Church.  She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Atkins; four sons, Randall Atkins, Robert Coleson, Danny Atkins, and Justin Atkins; seven grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Libby and Dwight Grimes, Bonnie and Mark Donithan, Peggy and Richard Pell, and June and Barron King; a brother, Mark Wright; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Wright; and a brother, Bobby Wright.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Philippians 3:10 Church, with Pastor Garland Boyd and Pastor Bradley Slate officiating.  Being mindful of social distancing, the family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
