Paul Henry Cromer

Mr. Paul Henry Cromer, 71, of Mt. Airy, passed away at his home Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  He was born

in Surry County, February 1, 1949 to the late Charlie and Addie Shinault Cromer.  He was a retired truck driver from Direct Trucking after many years of service.  Mr. Cromer never knew a stranger, always striking up a conversation with anyone he met.  He was willing to help others in anyway he could.  Mr. Cromer is survived by his loving family, daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Herman Edwards and Amanda Wall; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Susan Cromer; daughter-in-law, Nyoka Cromer; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Leon Pack, and Polly and Grady Marion.  In addition to his parents Mr. Cromer was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jo Pack Cromer; a son, Paul Cromer; a grandchild, Ashley Cromer, brothers, Roy Cromer, Bill Cromer, and Bud Cromer; sisters, Nora Branch, and Ellen Bowman.  A graveside service will be held at Tru-Way Baptist church Cemetery Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM with  Elder V.J. Hawks officiating. The family will receive friends at his home at Massey Rd., Mt.
