Paul David Freeman

Mr. Paul David Freeman, age 70, of Dobson, NC passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center. David loved to fish and hunt but most of all he loved the Lord and his family. He was born in Surry County on September 15, 1949, to the late Robert Paul Freeman and the late Fairy Lucille Davis Freeman. He was a retired custodian from Surry Central High School.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Childress Freeman; granddaughters, Cheryl Nicole Jenkins and Shirley Rose Benge. Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Turner Snow; daughters and sons-in-law, Mitzi and B. C. Brickey, Deanna and Jimmy McHone, Christie and Barry Benge; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Judy Jenkins, Marty and Leanna Freeman; step-daughters and step-sons-in-law, Tammy and Bruce Chapman, Sheila and Ricky Childress, Melissa and Michael Wilkins, Tonya and Jody Shelton; step-sons and step daughter-in-law, Tim and Becky Snow, Darrell Snow; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild due in April. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Glinard Lawson, Rev. Bill Jenkins, and Rev. Craig Jenkins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of his service at 11:00 AM. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Freeman family.
