Paul Dale "PD" Hull

Mr. Paul Dale “PD” Hull, 71, of Lowgap, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Surry County on May 31, 1947 to the late John Howard and Ruby Lowry Hull.  Mr. Hull retired from the Surry County School System, and was a member of Crooked Oak Moravian Church.  He is survived by his loving wife of 50 ½ years, Dianne Golding Hull of the home; a daughter, Shannon Brintle and Chris Hodges; a son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Angel Hull; grandchildren, Karson Brintle, Haven Hull, and Hannah Hull; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Larry Johnson, Shera and Kenneth Fulk, Dianne Hull and Annitta Crook; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl Ray Hull, Ronald and Carol Hull, Kaye Hull; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Mr. Hull was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Danny Hawks, and a brother, Johnny Wayne Hull.  A funeral service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Butch Holder and the Rev. Sam Holder officiating.  Entombment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
