Paul Eugene Robinson

Mr. Paul Eugene Robinson, 67, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Robinson was born June 23, 1943, in Surry County, to Beatrice Willard Robinson and the late Johnny Robinson. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Robinson of Aberdeen; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Mark and Lori Robinson of Cana, VA, Dale and Barbara Robinson of Sanford, Thomas and Geraldine Burden of Mount Airy, and Patrick Robinson of the home; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Beatrice Robinson of Rural Hall. In addition to his father, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise Burden Robinson. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Powers officiating. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.
