Paul Henry White

Paul Henry White, 91, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon March 15, 2025, at LifeBrite Nursing Facility. He was surrounded by his loving family as he entered into the arms of Jesus. Born on August 29,1933, in Raleigh to the late John Henry White and Vennie Wilkes White. He retired from RJ Reynolds with many years of service and was a  farmer for numerous years. Paul had a deep devotion to his family and his grandchildren, his grandchildren were like his shadow, you very rarely saw him without at least one of them. After his grandchildren were grown Paul had to get a little dog to carry with him named "Tiny".  Her spot was in his lap at all times. Occasionally he enjoyed a nice fishing trip and going out to Mayflower for dinner, catfish, baked potato and coleslaw were his favorite. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie, John, Franklin, Thomas, Ransom; sisters, Bessie and Vinnie and grandchildren, Joey White, Scott White, Tamra White, J.W. White, Jacob White. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Luella Hiatt White; 5 children Bobby White (Lori) of Turkey, NC, Ray White of Danbury, Tommy White (Rachel) of Danbury, Jeffrey White of Danbury, Michael White (Misty) of Danbury. Grandchildren, Timmy (Jessie), James, Josh (Carleigh), Abigail, Nicole, Paul, Lanette (Aaron) and 8 great grandchildren.

There will be a 4:00 pm graveside service held on Wednesday, March 19,2025 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 97 Oak Grove Trail, Cana, Virginia 24317. Flowers can be sent to Moody Funeral Home at 206 West Pine Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Each Brother will receive friends and family at various times at their homes after the funeral. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
